2016 535D BMW 498 inc tax! LOADED

Looking for a lease takeover. 19 months left on a 24 month lease. ~1000+ miles a month for 19 months. Loaded with features. Only looking for MSD and lease protection fees ($4800) and $3500 is refunded to you upon return of the lease.

Located in socal!

I’m interested, can you send me a pm with your phone # so we can discuss?

@chachachanng what are lease protection fees?

Lease protection covers up to 5k worth of damages at lease return. The cost of the plan covers the tires alone so I get it every time. You can return the car with bald tires and they won’t ding you along with larges scratches…etc.

@chachachanng oh ok, now i know what you mean, it’s called BMW ultimate protection program.

I will never understand why someone would buy it unless they have to street park and had to worry about a lot of dents/dings/chipped windshield. I’d rather save the $ and put a used set of tires with enough thread from CL on the car for $200-$300 at lease return. BMW is pretty lenient to begin with with dings/scratches so unless you have a huge dent they will let it slide. But to each their own, some people just want the piece of mind, i just think it will be hard to try to have someone pay you for it since most people don’t want it but good luck anyway.

Yeah I think you just made your point, a lot of folks don’t want to deal with the tires, buying used/non run flats and then swap. This 535d comes with HUD, and it is not cheap either to replace the windshield. This peice of mind is def worth imo, at the end of the day it’s a 63k BMW, nothing is cheap on them. This is the lowest I’ve ever got a 535d down to with zero down as well, the protection was just to make the car worry free for the entire duration of the lease.

Not to point out the obvious but you can get a demo loaded in SoCal at this price with that much MSDS down…

not sure what’s obvious. That’s max MSD which should be put down on any car and GOOD LUCK finding a 535D in socal. Exec demos and loaners are picked clean at this price range. Only ones I even came across were in the $630+ this is a 24monthe 12k yr lease as well. The MF were a lot better during middle of the year.

Do your homework, take a look at swap a lease or lease trader. Not a single 535d in this price range.

the only thing that’s stands out about your deal is that it’s a 24 mo lease vs 36, otherwise you can do same or better on a 535 non diesel loaner, I’ve been quoted closer to 400 than 500, then again that was 2 months ago. I don’t really understand why one would even get a diesel unless they drive a lot of miles which you really can’t on a lease anyway.

@chachachanng i’m going to give you a good piece of advice someone else gave me on this forum and it worked for me as well. Spend the $100 (i picked the cheapest plan but there have other plans that provide you with more visibility on the site) and put the car on swapalease. You have to go to a market place where people are looking for lease transfers. I’ve tried CL, this forum and other free placed myself, got no traction after 3 weeks and then put my car on swapalease and someone took it within 2 days of posting. There’s also lease trader but i can only speak to the fact that swapalease worked well for me. If your car is indeed a good value, it should go fast, especially if you’re willing to give some sort of incentive. Good luck.

I disagree. See if you get any leads on here or on CL before spending money elsewhere.

Swapalease only has one 5 series listed for under $500, and most of them are above $600 (some of them are laughable). It should sell quite quickly on there.

+1 on success using swapalease. You get WAY more eyeballs on your listing by going through them.

@305hackr I’m writing all of these things in the nicest possible way.

  1. Try a diesel before you voice your opinion on it as well. Mpg/price are both better than the 535i.

  2. I didn’t ask for your advice ,I posted on here to see if there are any interest as I used this forum to find the car I currently have and just want to pass on a good deal. Word of advice for you, if you don’t like it, move on.

  3. Please don’t reply on this anymore…this is started to become a useless thread.

How much were you charged for the basic listing on swapalease if you don’t mind me asking?

Never used it myself, but it was mentioned in a post above I think.
