1986 Mazda B2000 for $30K?

I bought a 1986 Mazda B2000 pickup in 1986 for $7500, brand new. Ironically I bought it from Walser Mazda in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The truck I bought was white, same graphics, but was extended cab with short box. It had two options: air conditioning and power steering.

Affordable and simple compact pickups were all the rage in the 80’s. Sad the industry has forsaken this class of vehicle in the US until Ford’s introduction of the Maverick.

Here was my '86 B2000 SE5 in 1988

We put 300k on two of those things in our family. Thanks for sharing just sent this to my Dad.

The 86 one we had was just like this and mazda had an unlimited miles warranty and it was on the road all day. Before they used the Ford parts bin Mazdas were bulletproof.
