17 X5 How am I doing

Hackrs,
Heres a deal im working on all opinions are appreciated
2017 X5 loaner
Msrp. 63,995
Sale 51,495
Freight 995
doc fee 297
Rebates 4000
MF. .00152
res. .58% $37,117.10
10k /36
$564.48/month
$919.18 due at signing (first and MV fees)

20% off is good in an X5. Is it new or a loaner?

Its a loaner 4k miles

Seems reasonable for an X5.

Real good. I was hunting 17 X5s for awhile. Was really hard to get 20% off (best I got was 52.5). Check the carfax to make sure there’s no damage. Of the ones I was able to get deeper discounts close to 20% they had damages on the carfax (albeit “minor”).

Did they adjust the residual for the miles?

So carfax did reveal damage to rear but not in accident.
Dealer report shows 2k to repair bumper thru their own bodyshop. They reduced the price to 48,885
499/mnt. Im hesistant to pull the trigger even though i like the monthly. Thought?

Very cheap for an X5. If you aren’t sure about the work, pay for a third party inspection. On a lease, not sure I would care much as long as no structural damage.

for bumper dmaagae? I’d take it. Seems incredible with the discount

2k, it’s most likely the bumper cover and paint. I can’t see structural damage with that little $$$$.

With a 63,995 MSRP , doc fee, retired loaner status and damaged bumper, I feel like I know where this car is. IF it’s the same, you’re doing better than I did on the selling price last month. IF it’s the same car, I think you could probably hack off another 1k by sealing the deal in person. But if you’re happy with the price go for it. Since leasing minor damage is a non-issue, as mentioned previously.

Thanks you all. Exactly what i was thinking just needed reassurance.

You think you are going to do better than his quote?

Im in NYC whats up…

At that msrp does it even have many options?

So after leaving a deposit to hold the x5 for a week the day i drive down 3 hrs to pick it up i get a call that it was sold 2 days earlier. :triumph: Needless to say i was livid and ready to raise hell in the dealership. However, a couple weeks earlier i was working on a velar in the same state so what better time to pay a visit. I ended up signing off. Msrp 63715 10k/36 598/mnt 598 down. And got the all weather mats thrown in, (a must for me with my 2 lil ones :stuck_out_tongue:) so $100 more per month was not the plan but I love the Velar. The 4 hr ride back home I did not see one on the road. Well worth it for me. I learned so much from this site, thanks to all who contribute.
