My cousin is thinking of leasing either a Crosstek or Impreza hatch sometime soon. He will have just graduated from college, and is looking for his first car.
I really have no idea about Subaru leases. I would think 10k miles would suffice for him (if that’s an option). He is in Mass. currently, but plans to move to Rhode Island for his new job.
So recent college grad, his parents would most likely be co-signing on the lease (and they lease a non-Subaru…not sure if there are any conquest incentives out there), will purchase in MA.
I’m looking for a similar lease. What I’ve noticed so far is that different dealerships have vastly different advertised specials on these models. Lowest I have seen for the Crosstrek was $2500 down, $109/month at GrandPrix Subaru in Long Island. That price was advertised last month (February)—I’m hoping it will be back next month.
In all the comparison articles we’ve done so far, Subarus have reliably been the most expensive to lease. Inventories are tight, so Subaru doesn’t need a compelling lease program, and the dealers won’t discount much.
The upside is that you might have equity at the end of the lease.
The lease’s standard is 12K/year and it’s cheaper to most to go up to 15K (was under $11/mo)
I was able to get my GF this summer $270 drive offs and $243 a month at 36 months with 15,000 miles a year (out the door) for a 2015 Impreza Premium2.0i 5 door with the only option being gentex homelink mirror ($265ish) dealer add on
