The residual is 53% (based upon 15,000 miles/year) on a 2019 Tiguan S. And with only 12,000 miles per year, you add 2%, so the residual is 55%. So the numbers I gave you were based upon 55% residual, and a 36 month lease: $262 + tax or $287/month. Code:

Can this deal be better?

There’s lots of missing information here. What’s the lease cap cost before any incentives/rebates / What are the rebates if any ? What’s the money factor being used here ?

All you have are some monthly numbers

I’ll ask … thanks…

This is the PDF the dealership sent me.

I sent you the info

There’s $2k lease cash so the discount looks decent, the MF is marked up, I believe it’s .00006. Double edmunds.

Should I ask them to bring the mf down to 00003?
Thanks

Well ask for buy rate, but see if they’ll go lower on the price first, maybe another $500, then use the MF to close the deal, say buy rate and you’ll sign. Link below will give you the right incentives, don’t ask for below buy rate.

VW does MSDs also

What exactly is MSD?

Quoting Jamiedose…

MSD = multiple security deposit. Fully refundable and brings the MF down to save on rent charges.

Every dealer I’ve talked to said VW doesn’t do MSD. What gives?

They dont…
