Replacing brake rotors and pads

Hello, My MB E350 lease expires in 9 months. The front brakes are badly pulsating and need to be changed. The dealer quoted $900. Could it be a problem during the end of lease inspection if I put aftermarket rotors and pads?

Thanks in advance

It shouldn’t be a problem but use a good independent mechanic and save yourself some money

Thanks guys for the quick replies

To my surprise OEM rotors and pads were $300 after the dealer matched a price I found on internet

Including installation?

I wish - parts only. I can install them myself

That’s a great deal for pads and rotors

I just don’t get it why at 27K the car needed brake job.

I ended up convincing the dealership to waive the labor charges and I just paid $286 total for the front axle brake job.

My ML had the same bs. At 22k had to replace front brakes. Dealer refused to accept that there was something wrong with them as it pissed me off because I have had toyota, chrysler, pontiac and never replaced them till at least 50k. But mine was only 400 in costs. Prices go up i guess but 900. Dang thats some bs quote.

European cars seem to go through brakes much faster then Japanese cars.

I had a Mercedes turned in with 34k miles and the front brakes were ok, but barely.

My VW needed brakes front and back around 40k miles

Toyota brakes were almost 50% left in front at 80k miles.
