Hi! I am trying to get a good price on a c300 and was just given the below offer. Is this good? What would you say to the dealer in response? (PS Thank you in advance for your advice!!)
2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 300 Rear-wheel Drive Sedan - Service Loaner
Mileage: 8,130
MSRP: $43,130
DEALER PRICE: $39,690
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $349
(this includes California tax)
DOWN PAYMENT: $3000
(this includes first month’s payment and all drive off fees etc.)
LEASE TERM: 7,500 miles for 36 months.
Let me know your thoughts!
Tell them to pound sand…
Target savings from msrp on a c300 should be 20+% off, you are at 9%. That loaner has 8000+ miles on it, which means the residual drops >$1000 ($.20 per mile for each mile over 3000).
Also, instead of a downpayment, use that money for MSDs to lower the MF. I would shop other dealers and see what they say.

Thanks cheapdad! I was a little worried about the 8,000 miles on the loaner. I was just hoping to get a c300 for under $300 a month…is that crazy talk?
Not crazy at all. This dude has had like half a dozen available for over a month - MB 2018 C300 Sedan Loaner (SOCAL ONLY) $276 monthly! $1677 DAS. MSDs required
