Is this a good deal?

Thanks!

Go join AARP. That’s another $1.5k incentive and a reduction on MF.

Don’t do it. i’m in your same position and waiting to get a decent deal on the 540i but i say u should wait too. the deal you got other than being crap the money factor should start at .00134 not .00140

It’s .00140 this month

Does anyone know if the aarp will stack with corporate incentives? I have $1500 coming from Deloitte and wanted to see if I could add aarp before I suggest to the dealer

I’m nearly certain it won’t. There is a thread on Bimmerfest about the AARP so I’d look there. Should be covered

Deal is > 1% of sales price. Automatic bad deal.

agreed but it was a brand new car and the first month that it was released so its not as bad as you think for being new. but definitely should wait on this car for at least a couple of months. even i want the 540 and have no car now but i will wait.

is that 1% before sales tax rolled in or after?

Isn’t the “1% rule” based on MSRP, not sale price?

OP: I just ordered a 540i MSRP of $62370 and my monthly after tax is $599 FYI. More info here: 2017 BMW 540i lease quote

It will not stack. 1500 rebate plus 20 bp reduction.

Yes on MSRP, usually we say “including tax” (but kind of makes it weird for GA, TX, NY, etc – oh well) on a 36/10k lease. It is more of a guide to see how far you are from a good deal. This is just a quick and easy way to see if you are at least at the starting point for further negotiations. Some brands that don’t lease well, this is probably pretty close. On cars that lease well, this is NOT a very good way to get a great deal.
