Calculator

I’m not going anywhere near this but wondering if I made a mistake with the calculator or dealer hijinks?

Ask them for a lease breakdown worksheet. You don’t know what MF they’re charging, along with any additional fees incurred.

Got it. The sheet shows Rate = .000125

What trim is this…that MF looks marked up.

I’m at 596/mo, so his payment isn’t that far off.

Luxury trim. Ok, So I must have entered something wrong in the calculator. I’ll recheck

he’s marking it up. Buy rate is .00067 on 39 month term. 10% discount on a 3k mile loaner isn’t enough. I’d move on.

Yep… will do. Thanks

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt…48 month term is .00125, so he may have looked at the wrong column. 39 is definitely .00067 though.

You need to adjust the RV for the miles. It’s not 58%.

GM doesn’t adjust residual for mileage. Technically, you’re supposed to lose those miles during the lease per GM Financial’s lease guide, but some have reported that the miles are not lost (the assumption being the dealer bought those miles back and padded it into the deal, as the option is there to purchase the miles back @ $.20/mile). I lost them in my deal though, which was fine.

From the lease worksheet, the adjusted RV is $30212.50, which comes out to 56.87%, not 58%.

hmmmm…RV for 39/10 is 58 this month, so that’s correct. Looks like they bought those miles back and added it into the lease + adjusted residual accordingly, so for calc purposes, yeah, RV needs adjusted. It would seem this one has exactly 3,000 miles based on that.

here is what i got 5 minutes ago.
