First time lease negotiation for me and could sure use some help on how to proceed next/counter the dealers list price.

Not sure what the first move should be. Here’s some other info:

  • dealer is amenable to negotiate cap cost. I think it should be 2k less (I’d be happy with that)

-should the dealer move off list price first before I counter?

-car in NC and I live in Florida

-not sure what else I can negotiate

  • my folks have an old junker they’d like me to get rid of. It’s an 08 Nissan Altima (bluebook for around 2k but I’d take 1k) but no way I’m driving that thing up to nc. Any way I can use that as part of deal?

Please check the forum for other deals that have been posted, but you can save $100/month or more on a payment, and only put upfronts DAS

The dealer discount is too little.
I would listen to @Bostoncarconcierge , he’s a reputable RR broker on this forum. Or maybe he can help you get a better deal.

This is my Socal only deal, which are usually less competitve given the market. Idk what dealer you’re using but they are wayyyyyy off.
